Who can apply?
(i) Barbadian student
(ii) Who has completed their Bachelor of Laws at The University of the West Indies
(iii) With a minimum degree of Upper Second Class Honours
(iv) Intending to pursue his/her Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School, Trinidad and Tobago
Holders of other classes of degree [Lower Second Class and Pass] may still apply.
Value of funding?
BDS $5000 per year (2 year award)
Total: BDS $10,000
Additional information on funding:
Permissible uses of funding: Rent, Food, Utilities, Transportation, Books
Only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.

(i) A copy of your curriculum vitae
(ii) A copy of your transcript from The University of the West Indies
(iii) A copy of your birth certificate, passport or some form of identification which serves as proof of Barbadian nationality
(iv) Referee form: Referee Report;
(v)Essay required under Application
This year's essay topic is "Pick an experience from your own life and explain how it has influenced your development."
The renewal of this scholarship in the second year of the Legal Education Certificate is dependent on satisfactory performance in the first year. Thus, an official report from the Law School must be submitted
